Infrastructure Laws

Infrastructure : Infrastructure is the framework of any structure, upon which the entire superstructure is built. The term has several meanings. The most popularly used would mean roads, airports, and utilities. They may together be called civil infrastructure, municipal infrastructure or public works. Infrastructure may also be relating to information technology, informal and formal channels of communication, software development tools, political and social networks, beliefs held by members of particular groups.

History : The word infrastructure might have had its origin in France in the 19th century. It was initially used to describe military installations.

Rural Infrastructure : There is a marked difference between rural infrastructure and urban infrastructure. The public investment per unit of geographical area is the parameter upon which the infrastructure is defined. The infrastructure is based on the number of industrial plants and other corporate plants being present and / or located in that area.

Spotting Hidden Infrastructure : In USA, during excavations, various colours are used to mark the underground lines in a site. Electric power lines and lighting are marked in red, oil, steam, gas, gaseous materials, petroleum are marked in yellow, communication, signal lines, alarm, conduits and cables are marked in orange, slurry lines, irrigation and water are marked in blue and drain lines and sewer are marked in green

Airpot Infrastructure : Technical support, human resources and administration clubbed together make Airport infrastructure. Buildings, runways, Air Traffic, Air Traffic Control, Lounges and websites come under the purview of Technical infrastructure. Security personnel, runway personnel, ramp agents, management personnel come under the purview of Human Resources infrastructure and organization, suitable structure of follow-ups etc come under the purview of Administrative infrastructure.

Infrastructural Power : The power of the state to penetrate into the society to enforce its policies is commonly known as infrastructural power.
