AP: Human Rights Commission Directs To Withdraw Cases against KSEZ Farmers
The Andhra Pradesh State Human Rights Commission (APSHRC) headed by Justice B Subhashan Reddy has directed the East Godavari Collector and Superintendent of Police to consider withdrawal of all criminal prosecutions launched against the farmers in connection with the Kakinada Special Economic Zone(KSEZ) lands.In its order dated November 7, the commission directed the district administration not to view the acts of the KSEZ affected farmers during agitation, as tress passing into the acquired lands and obstructing the government officers on duty, as regular crimes under the Indian Penal Code but view the matters with compassion.

Court Fixes Nov 22 for Reply on Narco Test of Ahluwalia
The Special Court of Justice J L Gupta asked the Vigilance Bureau (VB) to file its reply by November 22 on its demand for conducting a narco test on Subhash Ahluwalia, the former principal private secretary to former chief minister Virbhadra Singh. The court passed the order on the application of the VB demanding a narco test on the IAS officer, who is under arrest in a corruption case. The application was filed last week. While filing the application the VB had stated that Ahluwalia was concealing facts in the case filed against him. Ahluwalia and his wife Meera Ahluwalia have been booked in a disproportionate assets case.
